O ambiente como questão sociológica e temática da sociologia escolar

O trabalho analisa o ambiente como questão sociológica e de lógica social (político-econômica). Para isso, resgata o processo histórico pelo qual a questão ambiental foi migrando da esfera natural e de um viés naturalista para a arena cultural com um enfoque culturalista e antropológico, na superação do antropocentrismo. Movimento que está ligado ao advento da questão ecológica, que emerge nos anos 1960 e 70 com a degradação da biosfera e poluição da atmosfera, entre outras formas de devastação da natureza. Paralelamente, a pesquisa foca a questão educacional e a interface entre Sociedade e Educação, mostrando como as preocupações ecológicas passaram a integrar os currículos escolares, ainda que de forma tímida e incompleta, dentro de um processo de conscientização. Essa tomada de consciência da realidade e da necessidade de reverter o processo de degradação da natureza e da humanidade coincide com uma nova postura ética que se acentua no alvorecer do século 21 e que se liga aos conceitos de “Ecosofia” e “Conquista do Presente” (Maffesoli) e “reforma do pensamento” (Morin). Também se conecta ao tema da cidadania, sempre importante para a Sociologia. Promovendo um debate teórico-conceitual através do resgate de diversos autores que refletem essa temática e enfatizando o papel da Sociologia como campo de conhecimento propício para trabalhar a questão, o texto também analisa o surgimento da Sociologia Ambiental como subcampo para tratar desta temática junto aos jovens nas escolas e como conteúdo da educação básica.The work analyzes the environment as a sociological and social logic (political-economic) issue. For this, it rescues the historical process through which the environmental issue was migrating from the natural sphere and from a naturalist bias to the cultural arena with a culturalist and anthropological focus, in overcoming anthropocentrism. Movement that is linked to the advent of the ecological issue, which emerged in the 1960s and 70s with the degradation of the biosphere and atmospheric pollution, among other forms of devastation of nature. At the same time, the research focuses on the educational issue and the interface between Society and Education, showing how ecological concerns have become part of school curricula, albeit timidly and incompletely, within a process of awareness. This awareness of reality and the need to reverse the process of degradation of nature and humanity coincides with a new ethical posture that is accentuated at the dawn of the 21st century and that is linked to the concepts of “Ecosophy” and “Conquest of the Present”. (Maffesoli) and “thought reform” (Morin). It also connects to the theme of citizenship, always important for Sociology. Promoting a theoretical-conceptual debate through the rescue of several authors who reflect this theme and emphasizing the role of Sociology as a field of knowledge conducive to working on the issue, the text also analyzes the emergence of Environmental Sociology as a subfield to address this theme with young people in schools and as content in basic education
